Grey Mist - the what, why and how

Grey Mist, a band of Brother Affiliate, is a community organized and led simming organization centered around Star Trek. The simms within Grey Mist are centered around the various time and story line, both cannon and non cannon, that are found within the Trek franchise and community.

Simm Organization - Taskforces and Task Groups

Currently there are two TFs within Grey Mist, TF22 and TF44. We may have more in the future, either through association or internal growth. Each Task Force cover a particular timeline (or timelines).

The Game Masters along with the Grey Mist Command Staff are responsible for determining the timeline resources (ship specs, background story, etc), maintaining these resources along with the degree of impact these have on individual simms.

Grey Mist Command - Leadership

GM Command shall consist of the GM CnC and no less then three other senior members.  In case disputes with COs or players individual GM Command members may recluse themselves from the decision making in which case the other three members will make a decision for the whole body.

Grey Mist Command - Role and Purpose

GM Command shall administer the community with the smallest footprint possible. The role of the GMC is not to impose its will on individual simms. The main role for the GM Command will be in coordinating the fleet support functions.

The supporting functions will center around fleet and simm Recruiting, organizing, web support, etc. In addition contact with other organizations of similar nature will be maintained through the GM Command as whole or through individual members.

A bi annual state of the fleet will be given by the CnC to the Players and game masters. The GM Command will on a continues and as needed basis interact with Simms and TF Staff to make sure that standards are enforced. This will mostly center around maintaining minimum qualities and requirements that players and simms will have to meet.

The GM Command will also act as a disciplinary body in case of offenses committed against individual players or the group as a whole.
